4. People say trading is risky, is this true?
Yes, it can be. Especially when people treat trading like gambling. But when I trade I make sure I follow certain rules and guidelines so that I can protect my capital.
5. I lost money before investing in other things, how is this different?
While I cannot guarantee anyone won’t lose money in this… one of the key things I address is people’s beliefs around money. I realise in 90% of cases people have the wrong ideas around money that leads to problems with their trading. This is one of the first things I nip in the bud for my students.
6. How much can I make from this?
It really depends on the individual. Experience, capital and time are the 3 factors that determine how much someone can make. Personally I only trade a few hours at night and I’m happy with what I get. It’s totally flexible and can be done around people’s lifestyles and appetite for risk.
7. Isn't trading complicated?
It can be complicated, but my system is not complicated at all. My 15 year old daughter is starting to trade and my 7 year old son understands what to look out for.
